Greenville United FC, anchored by a pair of recent victories, will host Johnston County FC of Selma, North Carolina at John Paul II Catholic High School Stadium on Saturday, May 3 as a final test before the National Premier Soccer League season begins.

Greenville United opened the season with a dominant 4-1 victory over NC Ballers FC of Charlotte. Modou “Bobby” Faye scored a brace on his GUFC debut with two goals, while Daniel “Lalas” Ayertey and Babacar Fall added one goal each in a display of offensive firepower.

“The team has been working hard, and it’s showing on the field,” says Head Coach Aaron Okwei. “We have high standards at Greenville United, and this group is really building something the whole city can be proud of.”

The Bucks will be back at John Paul II Catholic High School Stadium on Saturday, May 3 against a newly-formed Johnston County FC of Selma, North Carolina.
