865 Alliance Match Preview

The Greenville United Football Club will continue the 2026 NPSL Season against the 865 Alliance on Saturday, May 30th at 5:30 p.m. at John Paul II Stadium. The game will be available for streaming on GUFC TV on YouTube, and tickets can be purchased at the gate or online at www.greenvilleutd.com/tickets.

Scouting the Alliance

Based out of Knoxville, Tennessee, the 865 Alliance is an extension of FC Alliance, which is the largest youth soccer club in east Tennessee. They are led by founder Jon Schneider, who has over 35 years of coaching experience in Tennessee soccer. Cameron Schneider, the team’s 2025 captain, has stepped into the assistant coaching role for the team.

The Alliance started the season 1-1-0 with a 3-1 victory against Statesville FC and a 3-1 loss to Mint Hill FC.

Series History

Greenville United holds a 1-1-0 record against the 865 Alliance, with the Bucks capturing the latest victory with a 3-0 victory at home last season. In that win, goalkeeper Joseph Gyamfi captured a rare goalkeeper brace in extra time following an injury to one of our forwards. The Alliance took the first matchup 4-1 in Knoxville in 2024.

252 Ticket Special

In celebration of the 252, Greenville United has a special ticket price of $25.20 for 4 tickets for the upcoming match. This bundle must be purchased online ahead of time and may not be purchased at the gate. The link to order these tickets are www.greenvilleutd.com/tickets

Honoring the Champions

We are excited to announce that the P.S. Jones Middle School Co-Ed soccer team will be honored during halftime. Coached by Mistie Evans and Lacie Burns, the Demons captured their second Pitt County Middle School Athletic Conference Championship in a row.
